"To be able to say the words I am cancer-free feels phenomenal," the 40-year-old told Us
at the Power of Pink: An Acoustic Evening with P!nk and Friends event
in West Hollywood on Thursday, Oct. 23. "The beginning of this whole
journey I didn't know where it was going to end. People talked about
getting to the other side of the Breast Cancer diagnosis and I'm finally
there and it feels amazing."
The former Dancing With the Stars co-host revealed in a tweet in May that she had underwent a "grueling" double mastectomy. Luckily now, however, she can return to doing everyday normal things with her husband, Michael Hess, and the couple's two daughters: Josselyn, 6, and Hillary, 3.
"I'm back to operating at one-hundred percent," she told Us
Thursday. "It's sort of a new one-hundred percent, but I am feeling
great. I am back at the gym. I flew to the east coast three times in the
last four weeks, so I'm working a lot. Things are going really well."
She added: "My husband has been amazing through the whole process."
