Scarlett Johansson Is a Mom!

Scarlett Johansson has just begun the role of a lifetime: motherhood.
The 29-year-old actress has welcomed a healthy baby girl named Rose, her rep confirmed to The Insider
With Yahoo on Thursday. News of the pregnancy first broke back in March, though Johansson never formally commented on the rumors.

This is the first child for the Lucy star and her French journalist fiancé, Romain Dauriac, who confirmed their engagement last September.

Johansson's rep said that both mother and daughter are doing well and are seeking privacy, noting that the actress is a supporter of the No Kids Policy, the star-studded effort to keep celebrity children away from the public eye.

Though Scarlett did an excellent job of concealing her pregnancy for many months, by early summer, she had given up trying to hide her (very obvious) baby bump. In June, she was snapped wearing fitted workout gear with Dauriac in Paris, and in July she was photographed kicking around New York City with her growing midsection highlighted by a bright red top.

Jill Duggar Explains Why She Announced Her Pregnancy So Early, Reveals When Baby Is Due

Honeymoon baby Dilly! Jill Duggar finally explained on Tuesday, Sept. 3, why she announced her pregnancy so early. The 19 Kids and Counting star revealed last month that she was expecting her first child with husband Derick Dillard just 60 days after their wedding.

"Understanding that the majority of miscarriages happen within the first trimester," Duggar, 23, told Page Six. "And believing that every life is precious no matter how young, we decided to share our joyful news as soon as we could."
The news, confirmed by Us Weekly on Aug. 20, was shocking to many Duggar family fans who followed Jill and Derick's courtship history. (According to the reality TV family's strict courtship guidelines, the Duggar children are not allowed to hold hands or kiss while dating. The couple shared their first kiss at the altar.)

Angelina Jolie Stocked Up on Bridal Magazines Months Before Wedding to Brad Pitt

Think she has a Pinterest board, too? Angelina Jolie clearly had her own ideas about what kind of celebration (and dress!) she wanted when she married longtime love Brad Pitt on Aug. 23 -- but she nonetheless looked for inspiration as many other brides do, in wedding glossies. Months before she walked down the aisle at Chateau Miraval in France, the A-list superstar stocked up on bridal magazines at a newsstand in Hollywood, an onlooker tells Us Weekly.

Jessica Simpson is loving life as a newlywed.
The fashion mogul, who wed Eric Johnson in July, shared a sweet family portrait alongside her husband, 34, and their two kids, daughter Maxwell, 2, and 1-year-old son Ace.

"Feeling balanced, healthy and inspired. Proud to have shared my perspective with @glamourmag," she posted alongside the photo. Simpson, 34, shared her five tips for living happily ever after in an exclusive guest post for the magazine.

"Today, I feel truly comfortable in my own skin," she wrote while reflecting on her life’s challenges and accomplishments. "Better exercise habits, food choices, and lifestyle changes have contributed to this, but ultimately, my confidence comes from my state of mind."

Jessica went on to list five lessons she plans to take with her into the next chapter of her life.

1. Remember who you are — and honor her. "When I was younger and starting out in the music business, I always felt like I was being defined by other people… but now that I’m in my 30s, I’ve grown into myself and established my identity on my terms," she explained. "I'm certainly not perfect, but when I look in the mirror, I’m proud of the woman I see."

11 Reasons Men Leave Their Marriages

Marriages don't just fall apart overnight. They often end after months and years of both spouses trying to stick it out, firm in the belief that they can work out their issues and sustain their marriages.

Once it's over, though, most divorcés can look back and pinpoint one exact moment -- one overblown argument or one instance where their spouse showed his or her true colors -- that should have signaled to them that the marriage was damaged beyond repair.

On Tuesday, divorced men on Reddit shared the moment they realized their relationship didn't stand a chance. See some of the most interesting responses below.
