The Creative Ways Newlyweds Jill and Derick Dillard Save Money

Newlyweds Jill and Derick Dillard are really getting settled into married life.

The "19 Kids and Counting" stars have also began to save in ways that only married couples would truly understand. From cooking meals at home to cutting their own hair -- check out the creative ways the Dillards are penny pinching.
Eating In and Growing Their Own Produce
"Making one of Derick's favorites for dinner tonight...stuffed zucchini! ... The zucchini is fresh out of my family's @duggarfam garden! #stuffedzucchini #jilldillard #derickdillard," she wrote yesterday.
If They Do Eat Out, It's Cheap!

"Can't beat eating out for only .56 cents per person! Celebrating IHOP's birthday with a short stack of pancakes for .56! #ihop #pancakes #cheapdate #derickdillard #jilldillard #19kidsandcounting," Jill Dillard posted.
Who Pays For Hair Cuts?!
"Giving my man a haircut. #haircut #derickdillard #jilldillard #savemoneylivebetter," she wrote.
When the Dillards registered for their wedding, they registered at Walmart, among other places. They included cereal, gift cards and other sensible products for around the house, including Duct Tape.
"Duct tape...a must have in every home!," she wrote earlier in the week.
